On your own network you do not need the XTSyncServer. Once the machine is back in the office and on the LAN, the synchronisation module is enough. The server is only needed for the route over the internet — what is needed when is explained here.
Xpert-Timer works has no download of its own. Works sits inside the Xpert-Timer pro installer in full and can be tried straight after installation. You only need a separate Works licence if you run Works without Pro.
The full details are on the system requirements page.
Then download the same installer above and run it over your existing installation. Your data is kept. Whether the update is free for you depends on your software maintenance package:
How an update works in detail is described in the update instructions in the manual.
Earlier major versions, for reinstalling — for instance if your licence is tied to a particular version, or if a workstation is not to be migrated yet. What changed from release to release is listed in the version history.
Older versions are no longer maintained. They receive no fixes and no adjustments for newer Windows releases. For day-to-day use please take the current release above — the archive is there for the case where there is no other way.
Not sure which package is the right one? Ask us — we help with the choice and with setting it up.
